Jeff Kurrus Named 2018-2019 Papillion-La Vista School District Author In Residence

For the third straight school year, author Jeff Kurrus will be the Papillion-La Vista School District’s Author in Residence, and will be visiting 12 elementary schools once a month to lead writers’ workshops with 4th graders.

The program uses a variety of writing exercises to prepare 4th graders to be lifelong writers and readers.

Jeff Kurrus will be visiting Leigh Elementary School in Leigh, Nebraska on Friday, April 20, to talk about his new book, Can You Dance Like John?, NEBRASKAland Magazine, and the world of writing and reading.

Jeff will also be creating fiction books with HAL students at Gretna Middle School during the month of May for elementary school students in Gretna.
